Woven tromp as writ in the first half (Rose fashion), then tie up was changed for Star fashion. In the magazine, Robyn wove 2 separate towels, but Diane chose to have all the designs in one towel.
Example: Color Gamp in 4 Styles
This color gamp is woven by Emily Guilland-Larson with 12 colors of Lunatic Fringe 10/2 cotton yarns. The first gamp was woven in plain weave at 24 epi. I made the colors changes 2x3” because I thought it gave a better color reference. I then cut it off and reslayed at 28 epi and wove 3 more gamps. The 1st was in 3/1 twill, then 2/2 twill and finally a crepe weave. The crepe weave draft was taken from Mastering Weave Structures, by Sharon Alderman.
