We welcome Kim Biegler from Ewethful Fiber Farm and Mill who will talk to the guild about her business in Halsey, OR. Halsey is 25 miles north of Eugene, a pleasant drive to a wonderful fiber business. On the website is the statement, “We create custom made fiber products for shepherds and all around fiber enthusiasts.” The main business there is a mill. Customers bring raw fleece from a wide variety of animals, and Kim processes the fibers, from cleaning through to end products, bats, roving, or yarn. Spinning, knitting, felting classes are offered as well as a free social day to work on projects with others. The retail shop carries the work of local makers as well as fiber and yarn.
